TARGET FINANCE CASE PRESENTATION & THE FINANCE LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
You are invited to participate in an interactive Finance presentation facilitated by one of our Senior Financial Analysts to learn more about Target and the Finance Leadership Development Program.

The Mock CEC is a two part presentation that allows you to become familiar with the Capital Approval Process at Target. You will be able to see samples of the actual financial “dashboards” that the CEC uses to make their decisions. The first section teaches you about the approval process and how to read the dashboards - which involves both financial and strategic concepts. During the second section, you will review 5 actual dashboards (with names and locations changed). After some study time, you will then act as the CEC and recommend approval or disapproval of the stores based on the financial and strategic concepts reviewed earlier in the presentation. Your recommendations are then compared against the actual CEC recommendations. This interactive exercise will provide you with a fun look at Target Finance as well a snapshot into the job of a Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP) position.
